Role
Interns will be assigned to various divisions, verticals, or units within NITI Aayog to assist in research, policy analysis, and formulation. The program is designed to provide students with a practical understanding of governmental functions and exposure to public policy work.
Eligibility Criteria
- Undergraduate students who have completed or appeared in their 2nd year/4th semester exams and secured at least 85% in their Class 12 examinations.
- Graduate students who have completed or appeared in the first year/2nd semester of their postgraduate programs or are pursuing PhD/research, and have secured at least 70% marks in their graduation.
- Students who have recently completed graduation or postgraduation and are awaiting admission to higher studies may also apply, provided they secured 70% or more cumulative marks.
- The time between the final examination result and the internship start date must not exceed six months.
Responsibilities
- Participate in research and empirical analysis.
- Draft policy briefs, reports, and discussion papers.
- Support administrative and strategic activities of assigned departments.

New Delhi, India
Duration
Minimum six weeks and up to six months. Interns who do not complete the minimum duration will not receive a certificate.
