Temporary Legal Assistant

Contractual – Full-Time (Initial tenure of 6 months, extendable based on performance)

Role

The Temporary Legal Assistant will provide legal support to the institute, including drafting legal documents, advising on legal matters, and liaising with legal entities as required. The role involves ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements pertinent to the institute’s operations.

Minimum Eligibility

  • Educational Qualification: Graduate in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university through a regular course.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal firm, as a qualified legal practitioner/advocate, or in legal roles within government departments, courts, or public sector undertakings (PSUs).
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 63 years.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review legal documents and contracts.
  • Provide legal advice on various matters concerning the institute.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Represent the institute in legal proceedings if required.
