Position / Vacancies:

  • Contract Specialist — Global Legal and Compliance Center of Excellence (CoE)
  • Type: 6-Month Contract
  • Mode: Hybrid (In-office + Remote)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Law degree preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in contract negotiation in the technology or software sector.
  • Knowledge of commercial contracting law, intellectual property, and licensing.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Prior experience with NDAs, revenue, and sales contracts preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Second language proficiency will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs and other commercial agreements.
  • Support Red Hat’s global commercial attorneys in managing client and vendor contracts.
  • Assist with software subscription agreements, service agreements, SoWs, reseller/distributor contracts, and procurement agreements.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and product teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Educate internal teams and clients on open-source licensing and Red Hat’s subscription model.
