Role
Interns will assist analysts in conducting legal and policy research, preparing briefs on legislation and public policy issues, and tracking parliamentary proceedings. During a session, work is guided by the topics being discussed in Parliament; in non-session periods, intern interests are matched with ongoing analyst projects.
Minimum Eligibility
- Strong interest in public policy and the Indian legislative process
- Excellent analytical and writing skills
- Students or graduates from law, policy, political science, or related disciplines
Responsibilities
- Legal and policy research
- Drafting reports, summaries, and briefs
- Assisting in tracking bills and parliamentary discussions
- Supporting PRS outreach and communication initiatives
