  • Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) — 182 Posts

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from any recognized University (mandatory)
  • Preference will be given to candidates who:
  1. Have served for a minimum of two years in the Territorial Army, or
  2. Have obtained the “B” Certificate of N.C.C.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the State in criminal prosecutions before the appropriate courts
  • Advise police and government departments on legal matters related to prosecution
  • Prepare legal documents, draft charges, and ensure compliance with procedural laws
  • Support and manage case preparation, evidence assessment, and trial conduct
  • Assist in maintaining coordination between investigating agencies and the judiciary

As per 7th Pay Commission — Pay Level and allowances applicable under State Government rules
