Eligibility Criteria

Professor:

  • Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
  • A total research score of 120 as per Schedule II, Table 2 of MNLU Nagpur Service Regulations, 2022 and UGC 2018 Regulations.
  • At least 10 years of teaching and/or research experience in a university/college/national-level institution, with evidence of successfully guided doctoral candidates.
    OR
  • Outstanding professionals with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline and 10 years of professional experience, who have made significant contributions to their field.

Associate Professor:

  • Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
  • Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
  • Minimum of 8 years of teaching/research experience equivalent to that of Assistant Professor.
  • At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
  • A total research score of 75 as per MNLU Service Regulations, 2022 and UGC 2018 norms.

Assistant Professor:

  • Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant discipline.
  • Must have cleared UGC NET/CSIR NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D.) Regulations, 2009/2016 and amendments.
  • Candidates with Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among top 500 globally (QS/THE/ARWU) are also eligible.

Salary / Pay Scale:
As per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) norms.
