Role:

This internship provides students with hands-on experience in competition law, economic regulation, and market regulation. Interns will work closely with experts at CCI, contributing to research and understanding the legal and economic aspects of competition law.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Open to Indian nationals only.
  • Students with a placement in hand are not eligible.
  • Students from recognized institutions with exposure to Competition Law from the following fields: Economics & Management:
    • MA/MSc (Economics)
    • Fourth and final year of a five-year Integrated Economics degree
    • MBA students
    Law:
    • Second and third year of LLB (three-year course)
    • Fourth and final year of a five-year integrated law degree
    • LLM students
    Regulatory Governance:
    • MA/MSc (Regulatory Governance)
    Professional Courses:
    • Final group students of Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary, or Cost Accountancy

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on competition law and regulatory frameworks.
  • Assist in case studies and market analysis.
  • Engage in discussions with legal and economic experts.
  • Work on reports and policy recommendations.

Location:

New Delhi (On-site at the CCI office)

Duration:

  • One month (Starting April 1, 2024)
  • Option to extend for up to three months with university recommendation.

Stipend/Benefits:

  • ₹15,000 per month as an honorarium.
