Competition Commission of India — The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is a statutory body of the Government of India established under the Competition Act, 2002, responsible for preventing practices having an appreciable adverse effect on competition and promoting fair competition across India.

Location: Delhi

Position / Vacancies:

  • Legal Intern
  • Number of vacancies: 15 seats per month

Eligibility:

  • Students of 2nd or 3rd year of LL.B. (3-year course after graduation), or
  • Students of 4th or final year of the 5-year integrated law course, including students who have completed 3rd year and are entering 4th year, or
  • LL.M. students
  • Indian Nationals only
  • Students from recognized institutions/universities with exposure to Competition Law
  • Students with a placement offer in hand are not eligible
    Additional Requirements:
  • Recommendation from competent authority of the academic institution
  • Statement of Purpose (approx. 200 words) outlining topic and objectives of study
    Practice Area Exposure:
  • Competition Law
  • Regulatory Law
  • Anti-competitive Practices
  • Policy and Market Analysis

Duration:

  • Normally 1 month (commencing from the 1st working day of the month)
  • Extendable to 2–3 months with due recommendation from the academic institution

Mode:

  • Physical / Onsite

Stipend:

  • ₹15,000 per month (honorarium)
