About the Opportunity:
Applications are invited for a Legal Internship at the Competition Commission of India. The internship provides exposure to competition law enforcement, antitrust analysis, market studies, and regulatory processes.

Location:
New Delhi (Physical / On-site)

Position / Vacancies:

  • Legal Intern
  • Seats available: 15 interns per month

Eligibility:

  • Students in 2nd or 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. programme (after graduation)
  • Students in 4th or final year of a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme (including those who have completed 3rd year and are entering 4th year)
  • LL.M. students
  • Must be Indian Nationals
  • Students from recognized institutions with exposure to Competition Law
  • Students with a placement offer in hand are not eligible

Duration:

  • Normally 1 month, commencing from the 1st working day of the month
  • Internship for 2–3 months may be permitted with a recommendation from the University/College/Institution

Key Responsibilities / Role:

  • Assist in legal research related to competition law and policy
  • Support analysis of cases involving anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance and combinations
  • Assist mentors in drafting notes, case summaries and legal analysis
  • Contribute to research on market studies and regulatory developments
  • Support assigned tasks under the supervision of CCI officers

Stipend:

  • ₹15,000 per month (honorarium)

Certification:

  • An electronic internship certificate will be issued upon satisfactory completion, based on confirmation by the assigned mentor/guide
  • Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email
