Role

The SIAC Virtual Internship Programme provides practical exposure to international arbitration by involving interns in research projects, mock arbitration cases, and the Secretariat’s operations.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program.
  • Must ensure compliance with university policies and relevant government regulations to undertake a virtual internship from their country of residence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on arbitration-related topics.
  • Assist the SIAC Secretariat with legal research and case analysis.
  • Work on mock cases based on real SIAC cases and receive feedback.

Remote (Virtual Internship based in Singapore)

Duration & Term Schedule

Each internship batch lasts two months, requiring a 10-hour weekly commitment:

  • Batch 1: March – April 2025 (Apply by March 2, 2025)
  • Batch 2: May – June 2025 (Apply by March 23, 2025)
  • Batch 3: August – September 2025 (Apply by June 5, 2025)
  • Batch 4: October – November 2025 (Apply by August 15, 2025)
