Job Type:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university or institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of practice as an Advocate.
  • Additional Requirement: ICT course mandatory at the entry level (as per Chandigarh Administration norms).
  • Desirable: Good communication, analytical, and case management skills; knowledge of local laws and procedural statutes.

  • Criminal Prosecution
  • Legal Drafting and Advisory
  • Litigation before District and Session Courts

Key Responsibilities (indicative):

  • Conduct prosecutions on behalf of the State in criminal cases.
  • Provide legal advice to law enforcement and government departments.
  • Draft legal documents, opinions, and case reports.
  • Represent the Chandigarh Administration in courts and legal proceedings.
  • Assist in case preparation, evidence analysis, and coordination with investigative agencies.

Compensation / Benefits:

  • As per the 7th Central Pay Commission and Chandigarh Administration norms (Pay Level and benefits to be confirmed via official notification).
