Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) / Business Law or equivalent legal / corporate governance qualification
- Advanced degree or MBA + legal exposure is a plus
- 3–5 years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal/compliance work
- Preferred background in fintech, financial services, technology, or other regulated industries
- Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory compliance, data privacy & security norms, IP protection, and risk mitigation
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and risk-assessment skills
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication abilities
- High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality handling
- Ability to manage multiple contracts, meet deadlines, and maintain strong documentation discipline
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and MS Office / Google Workspace
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize vendor, partnership, service, licensing agreements, NDAs, and other business contracts
- Create and maintain standardised contract templates and frameworks to improve efficiency and consistency
- Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and finance teams to embed legal, IP, data security, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regulatory compliance assessments and ensure adherence to applicable laws and internal policies
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle — initiation to execution, renewals, amendments, and termination
- Maintain accurate contract repositories and track milestones, obligations, and compliance checkpoints
- Identify legal and business risks in contracts and propose mitigation strategies
- Handle contract-related disputes and work toward amicable resolution
- Act as a legal-business interface, clearly communicating contractual implications to internal stakeholders
- Support new business models, vendor partnerships, and collaborations with compliant contractual structures
