Experience Required:

  • 4–6 Years (Post-Qualification Experience)

Eligibility:

  • LL.B. degree from a recognized university (Bar Council enrolment preferred)
  • 4–6 years PQE (Fintech/NBFC/Banking/Technology experience preferred)
  • Strong experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation
  • Working knowledge of digital lending regulatory frameworks
  • Understanding of data protection laws in India
  • Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Legal & Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with RBI directions, company law, consumer protection, and contract law
  • Advise business and product teams on regulatory implications
  • Track regulatory updates and assess operational impact
  1. Contract Drafting & Commercial Advisory
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (vendor contracts, tech agreements, marketing agreements, MSAs, NDAs)
  • Provide practical and commercially sound legal advice
  • Standardize and improve contract templates
  1. Product & Operational Support
  • Review customer-facing documents (loan agreements, T&Cs, policy documents)
  • Work with compliance, risk, product, and operations teams
  1. Risk Management & Dispute Handling
  • Identify legal and regulatory risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Assist in handling notices, disputes, regulatory queries, and litigation
  1. Data Protection & Governance
  • Support implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
  • Review privacy notices, consent mechanisms, and data-related contracts
  • Coordinate responsible data governance practices
