About the Job:
Argus Partners is seeking an Associate to join its Corporate – M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital practice in Bengaluru. The role offers high-quality transactional exposure, client interaction and involvement in complex, growth-driven deals.

Eligibility:

  • Law graduate with experience or strong interest in M&A, private equity, venture capital and general corporate advisory
  • Strong drafting, transaction execution and research skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
  • Commercial understanding and good communication skills

Key Responsibilities / Role:

  • Assist in structuring, negotiating and executing M&A, PE and VC transactions
  • Draft and review transaction documents (SPAs, SSAs, SHA, term sheets, diligence reports, etc.)
  • Conduct legal due diligence on target entities
  • Support partners and senior associates in deal execution and client communication
  • Research on corporate, securities, regulatory and investment laws relevant to transactions
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for transaction management
