Job Opportunity: Associate (Corporate / PE-VC) | Sarvaank Associates

Sarvaank Associates – A boutique law firm founded by professionals with experience in leading law firms, venture capital funds, and angel networks, specializing in startups, private equity, and venture capital advisory.

Position:

• Associate

Experience:

• 1–3 years PQE

Eligibility Criteria:

• LL.B. from a recognized law school (LL.M. preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in corporate law, PE/VC, or M&A
• Strong knowledge of Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI regulations
• Experience in drafting investment documents (SHA, SSA, SPA, term sheets, etc.)
• Experience in due diligence, transaction structuring, and compliance
• Familiarity with startup ecosystem, ESOPs, cap tables, and fund investments (preferred)
• Strong research, drafting, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines
• Mandatory: Prior law firm experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review investment documents and commercial contracts
• Advise on PE/VC investments, M&A, and corporate transactions
• Conduct legal research on corporate, regulatory, and data privacy laws
• Assist in due diligence, structuring, and compliance
• Work closely with founders, investors, and family offices
• Manage client communication and deliver strategic legal solutions
