Eligibility Criteria:
- PQE of 3 years in litigation/disputes
- Strong understanding of applicable laws and procedures
- Member of state/local bar association (preferred)
- Excellent legal research and persuasive writing skills
- Ability to analyse cases, predict outcomes, and identify risks/opportunities
- Strong communication, ownership, and client-service mindset
- Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Flexible, multitasking, and professional attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and vet pleadings, briefs, motions, memos, and other legal documents
- Attend and argue matters before courts/tribunals
- Prepare for and assist in trials, mediation, and arbitration proceedings
- Draft legal notices, default notices, and responses
- Work with laws including CPC, Consumer Law, Arbitration & Conciliation Act, Contract Law, Limitation Act, Registration laws, etc.
- Handle multiple categories of suits: Recovery, Declaration, Possession & Injunction, Specific Performance, etc.
- Conduct precise and thorough legal research
- Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership (articles, insights)
- Participate in CSR, pro bono, and firm culture initiatives
