Experience:

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience

Eligibility:

  • 1–3 years of experience in trademark prosecution and data protection/privacy
  • Good understanding of Indian trademark practice and applicable data protection laws
  • Prior experience in a law firm or IP practice preferred
  • Exposure to international trademark prosecution and coordination with foreign associates preferred
  • Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to independently manage matters and timelines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle domestic and international trademark prosecution, including searches, applications, examination reports, hearings, oppositions, renewals, and assignments
  • Conduct trademark searches and advise on availability, conflicts, and prosecution strategy
  • Assist with international trademark filings, foreign associate coordination, and Madrid Protocol matters
  • Draft and review trademark-related documents, responses, notices, affidavits, and client correspondence
  • Assist with IP portfolio management and monitoring of deadlines across jurisdictions
  • Advise on data protection and privacy matters and applicable legal requirements
  • Draft and review privacy policies, data processing agreements, consent notices, and other privacy documentation
  • Assist clients with data protection compliance assessments and implementation of privacy frameworks
  • Conduct legal research and provide practical, business-oriented advice
  • Coordinate with clients and internal/external stakeholders
