Language Requirement:

  • Mandatory proficiency in Kannada (reading and speaking)

Eligibility / Qualifications:

  • LL.B. from a recognized university
  • Enrollment with a State Bar Council
  • Associate: 2–3 years of active litigation experience
  • Prior experience in civil and commercial litigation (criminal litigation exposure is an added advantage)
  • Familiarity with court procedures and filings in Bengaluru courts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling day-to-day litigation matters before District Courts, High Court, and relevant tribunals in Bengaluru
  • Drafting pleadings, applications, written submissions, affidavits, notices, and replies
  • Conducting legal research and preparing case briefs, notes, and legal opinions
  • Assisting senior counsels in case strategy, hearings, and trials
  • Appearing in court for routine hearings, mentions, adjournments, and procedural matters
  • Coordinating with clients, counsels, court clerks, and registry offices
  • Tracking case progress, managing filings, and ensuring compliance with timelines
  • Maintaining accurate and updated case records
