Experience:

  • 2–6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) with meaningful exposure to Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) or technology-related legal practice

Eligibility:

  • 2–6 years of PQE in TMT or technology law practice
  • Strong knowledge of Indian and global data privacy laws, technology regulations, AI governance frameworks, e-commerce laws, and media & telecom laws
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills
  • Strong commercial judgment and business-oriented legal approach
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills with experience interacting with senior stakeholders and regulators
  • Proactive approach to monitoring legal and policy developments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance relating to IT/ITeS, data privacy, cloud computing, AI, consumer protection, digital advertising, telecom licensing, and digital media
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and technology agreements
  • Monitor and analyse regulatory and policy developments from authorities such as MeitY, MIB, I4C, telecom regulators, and the Data Protection Board of India
  • Support policy advocacy and government affairs initiatives
  • Track domestic and international developments in AI regulation, ethical AI, algorithmic transparency, and regulatory sandbox frameworks
  • Prepare client alerts, internal knowledge notes, and training materials on technology and data protection laws
  • Provide commercially practical legal advice on complex technology and regulatory matters
