Eligibility & Requirements:
- Degree in Journalism, Economics, Business, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
- Prior experience in business writing, newsroom/editorial roles, or financial journalism is a plus (exact experience level not specified).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to read market data, interpret economic moves and spot newsworthy angles.
- Excellent writing — clear, concise, and engaging storytelling around complex data.
- Curiosity about markets, macro/microeconomic trends, corporate events and policy developments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Track market movements, corporate developments and economic stories; turn them into clear, accurate and engaging copy for TV/digital platforms.
- Write scripts, news stories, quicktakes and explainers that translate complex data for viewers/readers.
- Monitor live markets and breaking news; produce timely updates and short-form content.
- Research background context, verify facts and prepare succinct briefs for anchors and producers.
- Coordinate with the production team, anchors and digital desk to shape stories for different formats (TV, web, social).
- Contribute story ideas, analyses and data-driven perspectives to editorial planning.
