Position:

Experience:

  • 3–6 years PQE

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Law degree from a reputable law school
  • 3–6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal team
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical, research, and business judgment skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in multinational corporate legal departments (preferred)
  • Experience in oil & gas sector (preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative

Desirable:

  • Company Secretary qualification
  • LL.M. from a U.S. law school
  • Licensed to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and related documents
  • Provide legal advice on corporate and business matters
  • Support compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Advise on ExxonMobil’s operations across India and global jurisdictions
  • Work closely with business teams on strategic legal matters
