Eligibility:
Required:

  • Licensed to practice law in India
  • Qualified Company Secretary (ACS), member of ICSI
  • LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a premier institution
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate law
  • Strong experience with Indian legal entity structures, corporate governance, and statutory reporting compliance
  • Experience managing board/shareholder meetings, MCA filings, ROC compliance
  • Strong ability to support Tax, Treasury, Accounting and statutory audit teams
    Preferred:
  • Prior in-house experience at a multinational technology company or a top-tier law firm
  • Experience managing subsidiaries, corporate maintenance, reorganizations
  • Familiarity with FDI regulations, FEMA compliance, RBI filings, tax and transfer pricing matters
  • Experience supporting statutory audits and coordinating with external auditors
  • Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple matters under time pressure
  • Interest in technology and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with corporate legal matters in other jurisdictions is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage corporate governance and compliance for Apple’s Indian legal entities
  • Handle board and shareholder meetings, MCA filings, ROC compliance
  • Support intercompany transactions, reorganizations, and entity integrations
  • Work closely with Finance on Tax, Treasury, Accounting and related matters
  • Support statutory audit processes and compliance cycles
  • Advise on corporate governance, legal entity risk, and business expansion issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to align business and legal strategy
  • Assist with corporate transactions, restructuring and reporting processes
