Eligibility Criteria:

  • LL.B. (3-year or 5-year integrated) from a recognized university
  • Admitted to practice law
  • Strong experience in global privacy and data protection laws
  • Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and multi-jurisdictional privacy frameworks
  • IAPP certifications (CIPP/E, CIPP/US) preferred
  • Experience in contract negotiation and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of financial services, payments, cybersecurity, or tech domains (preferred)
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work across global teams and manage multiple priorities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on global privacy and data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Draft, review, and negotiate data protection clauses in commercial agreements
  • Handle vendor and third-party data protection agreements
  • Support implementation of privacy frameworks and compliance processes
  • Identify and escalate privacy risks and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with business, product, and legal teams globally
  • Document negotiation outcomes and support audit requirements
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to information security policies and standards
