Eligibility Criteria:
- Prior experience in banking and real-estate due diligence.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with RBI norms, real-estate laws, insolvency laws, and property compliances — advantageous.
Practice Areas / Focus:
- Banking due diligence for loan transactions and credit files.
- Real-estate due diligence — title, statutory compliance, encumbrances and collateral review.
- Interaction with insolvency and enforcement aspects where relevant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on borrowers, collaterals and transactions.
- Review and analyse legal documents, title records and statutory compliance.
- Prepare detailed due-diligence reports with clear, actionable legal and commercial recommendations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients and external counsels as required.
- Support closing processes by flagging risks and suggesting mitigants.
