Eligibility:
Experience:

1–3 years of legal work experience, preferably with an investment advisor or mutual fund group in a legal or regulatory environment
Understanding of technology contract practices and standards (preferred)
Corporate governance experience (plus)
Working knowledge of back-office operations and securities laws/regulations (plus)

Academic Requirement:

Degree in Law

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with Americas, EMEA, and APAC Legal Teams on joint paralegal projects
Draft, analyse, review, and negotiate agreements including software licenses, SaaS/cloud, vendor, partner, NDA, and professional services agreements
Upload and manage agreements and amendments in online document repositories
Respond to legal subpoenas, IRS summons, DOJ and Grand Jury subpoenas, restraining notices, LOIs, and garnishment notices
Update fund disclosure documents and assist with post-effective amendments for Retail and ETF funds
Assist with interval fund tender offer filings and related board documentation
Conduct legal research for class action and bankruptcy (Chapter 11) litigation filings
Assist with portfolio manager holdings disclosures and fund board materials
Prepare and update disclosure documents for institutional private funds and sub-advised funds
Support derivatives legal work including ISDA amendments and related documentation
Review compliance policies to identify legal or regulatory risks
Assist with legal projects and issue resolution as required
Interact daily with overseas colleagues across global offices
