Eligibility Criteria:

  • LL.B. (LL.M. preferred)
  • Relevant in-house or corporate legal experience
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • Experience in governance, compliance, and litigation management
  • Ability to manage external counsel and cross-functional stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with local laws and Michelin global policies
  • Draft and update internal policies, SOPs, and governance documents
  • Implement group legal initiatives and compliance programs

Contract Management:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and purchase contracts
  • Provide end-to-end legal validation and risk mitigation guidance

Advisory Support:

  • Advise business teams on employment, marketing, manufacturing, and consumer matters
  • Conduct legal research and provide practical legal opinions
  • Deliver legal training sessions where required

Dispute Resolution & Litigation:

  • Manage litigation and arbitration matters across India
  • Draft legal notices and replies
  • Coordinate with and supervise external counsel

Legal Operations:

  • Manage legal budgets and external counsel
  • Support legal integration for new acquisitions
  • Handle legal project management
