About the Opportunity:
Jacobs is seeking a skilled and motivated lawyer to join its dynamic legal department. This role offers exposure to diverse projects within a global engineering and professional services organization, providing an excellent platform for professional growth in an in-house legal career.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualified lawyer with 3–7 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong academic background and training with a reputed law firm or an established in-house legal team
• Experience or keen interest in the engineering, construction, or professional services sector
• Excellent understanding of commercial contracts and corporate legal principles
• Strong ability to identify risks and demonstrate commercial awareness
• Clear communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of professional services contracts, including:
  – Client contracts
  – Joint venture and teaming agreements
  – Sub-contracts, confidentiality agreements, and parent company guarantees
• Draft and update standard templates and documentation
• Assist in contract management and internal claims handling
• Provide legal and contractual training to business teams
• Advise internal stakeholders on contractual covenants, obligations, and risk mitigation
• Support legal and commercial functions to ensure compliance and efficient project delivery
