Position / Job Type:

Eligibility:

  • B.A., LL.B. (or equivalent) from a reputed institution
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in the PE/VC ecosystem
  • Prior law firm experience preferred (law firm + in-house combination acceptable)
  • Strong execution and process management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Indian corporate law, FEMA, and regulatory frameworks applicable to venture capital investments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing first drafts of term sheets and definitive transaction documents and supporting negotiations
  • Coordinating and managing legal due diligence for prospective investments, including engaging external advisors and identifying legal/regulatory risks
  • Supporting legal management of the existing portfolio, including Indian corporate and secretarial compliances
  • Working closely with the internal investment team and external counsel on transaction execution
  • Gradually engaging directly with founders as deal exposure increases
