• Legal Executive — Property Due Diligence (West Bengal Region)

Job Type:

• Freelance / Contract-based

Duration:

• Ongoing contract (compensation based on the number of cases handled monthly)

Date of Joining:

• Immediate / within 30 days

Eligibility Criteria:

• LL.B. from a recognized institution
• 6 months to 5 years of experience in property law, real estate due diligence, RERA, and title search reports
• Knowledge of real estate laws of the West Bengal region (sound knowledge of RERA is an added advantage)
• Ability to work with confidential documents and deliver independent analysis
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and organized professional
• Proficient in Bengali (reading and writing) and able to read Kannada
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Background in litigation preferred (not mandatory)
• Prior experience in property documentation and title verification is desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and verify title due diligence and provide legal opinions for the West Bengal region
• Draft and vet contracts, reports, and other legal documents
• Manage assigned cases efficiently and ensure timely escalation/reporting
• Coordinate with external counsels, vendors, and clients for document collection and report preparation
• Research state-specific land laws and ensure compliance
• Handle property registration and related formalities
• Perform other legal tasks assigned from time to time
