Position:

Eligibility:

  • 6–12 years of relevant legal experience
  • Experience in compliance, litigation, consumer matters, property, and recovery
  • Strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations
  • Ability to provide practical day-to-day legal advice
  • Fluency in English and the local language
  • In-house legal experience in the automotive sector is preferred
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and able to travel on short notice when required

Responsibilities:

  • Handle compliance and litigation matters, including consumer litigation, property, and recovery cases
  • Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and codes of conduct
  • Identify legal risks and support appropriate risk mitigation measures
  • Conduct compliance audits and prepare reports and action strategies
  • Provide proactive regulatory advice and assess its impact on business operations
  • Conduct employee awareness, training, and legal education sessions
  • Coordinate with external counsel and manage ongoing cases
  • Prepare management reports and obtain feedback from relevant business teams
  • Provide legal opinions and advisory support on day-to-day business matters
  • Support legal issues relating to Sales and Marketing in a manufacturing environment
  • Manage legal tools and undertake additional responsibilities as required
