Organization:
DESRI, formerly known as D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments, owns and operates renewable energy projects across the United States. The organisation has developed or acquired approximately 13 GW of contracted capacity across 85+ renewable energy projects and has an office in Hyderabad, India.

Location:

• Hyderabad, India

Position:

• Legal – Project Finance
• 2–5 years of relevant experience

Eligibility:

• Law degree with strong academic credentials
• 2–5 years of experience in project finance, M&A or corporate lending
• Experience with financing documentation and transaction closings
• Familiarity with credit, security, collateral and partnership/LLC documents
• Ability to manage conditions precedent and multiple concurrent transactions
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills
• Ability to work with US-based legal, finance and deal teams

Responsibilities:

• Support project financing, refinancings, acquisitions and construction-to-term conversions
• Review, draft and negotiate financing documents, amendments, waivers and consents
• Prepare closing checklists, certificates, resolutions and conditions precedent packages
• Review security agreements, mortgages, pledge documents and UCC filing packages
• Support partnership/LLC agreements, side letters and tax equity documentation
• Maintain closing bibles, signature pages and post-closing trackers
