Role Overview:
The Outreach Manager will develop and manage strategic relationships with law enforcement agencies, government authorities, regulators, and industry coalitions, with a strong focus on internet safety and security. This role operates in a fast-paced environment and supports complex, high-impact issues related to online safety, integrity, and crisis response.

Eligibility:
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (advanced degree, including Law, preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in strategic outreach with law enforcement, security agencies, regulators, government bodies, data protection authorities, financial institutions, or internet industry associations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with sound judgment
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional project management skills
  • Public speaking and presentation experience for varied audiences
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional Indian language
  • Willingness to work off-hours/weekends for emergency matters and global coordination
  • Willingness to travel frequently within India and occasionally internationally
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technological fluency and alignment with Meta’s mission
  • Understanding of domains such as cybercrime, child safety, human trafficking, frauds/scams, illicit drugs/firearms, or terrorism
  • Knowledge of Indian laws on law enforcement data requests and intermediary content regulations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing strategic relationships with law enforcement, government, and industry partners
  • Representing Meta’s positions on law enforcement and safety matters to officials, regulators, and civil society
  • Collaborating with internal teams and global safety organizations to mitigate frauds, scams, and high-risk harms
  • Designing and executing country-specific programs on online safety, privacy, and security
  • Managing crisis responses involving law enforcement
  • Monitoring and analyzing law enforcement and safety issues impacting technology and social media
  • Partnering with Legal, Public Policy, Product, and Communications teams on safety initiatives
  • Educating law enforcement on Meta’s policies around user privacy and legal request handling
  • Supporting internal policy development with Meta’s Legal Team and external counsel
