National Law School of India University – A premier law university in India, leading legal education and research. This role is part of a national project funded by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj under the Nirbhaya Fund, focusing on women’s safety, legal awareness, and capacity building.

Position:

Experience:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • BA LL.B./BBA LL.B./LL.B. OR Master’s in Social Sciences/Public Policy/Gender Studies (minimum 55%)
  • LL.M. (preferred)
  • Interest in gender justice, criminal law, policy, and legal reform
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Familiarity with legal databases and digital tools (preferred)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing training modules on women’s safety laws
  • Conduct legal research on criminal laws (BNS 2023, POCSO, etc.)
  • Prepare IEC materials, digital content, and training resources
  • Coordinate translation of materials into regional languages
  • Support workshops and stakeholder consultations
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and project records
  • Contribute to blogs, policy briefs, and legal publications
  • Assist in research on community justice systems and evidence mechanisms

Salary:

  • ₹50,000 – ₹55,000 per month
