SPRF India is a New Delhi-based, non-partisan public policy think tank that engages young researchers under expert guidance. Its research focuses on Governance, Economy, Human Rights, Security and Environment, with work featured in leading publications.

Location / Mode:
Delhi NCR | Hybrid

Position:
Research Associate | Full-Time

Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant research experience, preferably with a think tank, academic institution or non-profit.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SPSS, STATA, R or equivalent is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce original research outputs including commentaries, issue briefs, discussion papers, videos and podcasts.
  • Develop supporting social media content for research outputs.
  • Assist with project proposals, literature reviews and identification of potential donors or partners.
  • Support the management of ongoing long-term research projects.
  • Participate in brainstorming and development of new research initiatives.
  • Review research drafts for quality and coherence.
  • Support SPRF events and conferences and represent the organisation at external events.
  • Co-manage editorial responsibilities for the Curated Voices Project and contribute to wider team initiatives.
