Eligibility Criteria:

  • 0–2 years of experience in tax, legal research, or policy work
  • Qualification: LLB / LLM / CA (Master’s in Public Policy or related field is a plus)
  • Strong writing, analytical and organisational skills
  • Interest in data, public institutions and systemic reform

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on litigation, assessments and dispute-resolution processes in direct tax
  • Analyse pendency, disposal patterns and tax-related datasets
  • Draft policy briefs, blogs, case studies and research outputs
  • Support stakeholder workshops, roundtables and consultations
  • Collaborate with senior practitioners and officials, including veterans from the Income Tax Department
