Role Overview:
As a Senior Associate – Legal, you will take end-to-end ownership of the contracting process, work closely with business teams on new initiatives, advise on legal and regulatory issues, and help ensure compliance while enabling business growth.

Eligibility / Skills:

  • Strong foundation in corporate and commercial law
  • Hands-on experience in commercial contracting and compliance
  • Excellent drafting and legal research skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate legal concepts in a business-friendly manner
  • High ownership, responsiveness, and ability to manage multiple assignments
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Analytical, solution-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor, distribution, service, licensing, and SaaS/technology agreements
  • Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues
  • Support corporate governance and compliance under laws such as the Companies Act, FEMA, and SEBI regulations
  • Assist in due diligence and documentation for investments, mergers, and restructuring transactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, finance, tech, business) to align legal processes with business goals
  • Track and summarize regulatory updates for internal stakeholders
  • Develop and refine templates, playbooks, and internal policies to improve efficiency and consistency
