Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in patent prosecution
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in patent prosecution activities, including office actions, First Examination Reports (FERs), examination reports, and opposition proceedings

Eligibility:

  • B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Registered Patent Agent qualification is an added advantage
  • LL.B. (Hons.) from a reputed law school is an added advantage
  • 3–5 years of experience at a top-tier law firm, IP service provider, or as an in-house patent agent/attorney
  • Excellent understanding of US, European (EP), and Indian patent laws
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prosecute patent applications across multiple jurisdictions
  • Draft and file responses to Office Actions, First Examination Reports (FERs), examination reports, and opposition proceedings
  • Advise on patent prosecution strategies under US, European, and Indian patent laws
  • Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and clients on patent-related matters
  • Support intellectual property portfolio management and prosecution activities
