Eligibility:
- BA LL.B. or LL.B. qualification
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in Civil Suits, Commercial Litigation, and Arbitration
- Relevant sector experience in Road, Airport, and Energy matters
- Ability to independently handle arbitration matters or work effectively as part of a team
- Understanding of models, theories, and legal principles relating to quantification of claims
Responsibilities:
- Handle arbitration matters from data assimilation, discovery, and research stages
- Assist with calculation and quantification of claims
- Work on demand notices and notices invoking arbitration
- Draft Statements of Claim, Statements of Defence, Counterclaims, pleadings, and applications before Tribunals and Courts
- Prepare evidence and argument notes
- Draft petitions challenging arbitral awards and related applications
- Participate in or assist with cross-examinations, including briefing seniors
- Conduct extensive case law and technical research
