Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Mortgage, Lending, or Banking (BFI)
Eligibility:
- LL.B./LL.M. or an equivalent law degree
- 5+ years of experience in Mortgage, Lending, or Banking (BFI)
- Expertise in Title Search, TSR Vetting, Legal Due Diligence, Mortgage Documentation, Risk Management, and Compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Title Search and TSR vetting
- Verify ownership and perform legal due diligence
- Provide legal advisory on mortgage products and regulatory compliance
- Manage legal risk and fraud prevention initiatives
- Draft and review mortgage documentation
- Handle client escalations and ensure timely resolution (TAT adherence)
- Lead, recruit, and mentor legal teams
- Build and manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement
- Drive business development and expansion initiatives
- Oversee legal operations and financial management
- Ensure risk management and compliance oversight
