Role Overview:
As a Senior Associate in the Legal Third Party Management Oversight role, you will ensure that third-party management processes are well-controlled and compliant with Enterprise requirements and Indian laws. The role involves managing risks, driving continuous improvement, and acting as a subject matter expert for Third Party Risk matters for Capital One India.

Eligibility:
Basic Qualifications:

  • Qualified LL.B. and Company Secretary (Member of ICSI)
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in the legal field
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in Third Party Management or operational risk management
  • Knowledge of Third Party Risk and the third-party lifecycle
  • Experience with Indian subsidiaries of US banks, financial institutions, or credit institutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels, including senior leadership

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver oversight across the end-to-end Third Party Management lifecycle, including onboarding, monitoring, and exit
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Third Party Risk Management matters
  • Build strong partnerships with enterprise stakeholders and risk teams
  • Deliver and support transformational third-party management initiatives
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and risk-aware decision-making
  • Collaborate with second-line teams (Legal, Compliance, Risk) on regulatory and framework changes
  • Own third-party management metrics, reporting, and communications
  • Support audits, regulatory examinations, and enterprise risk initiatives
  • Oversee vendor onboarding, offboarding, payments, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Ensure adherence to third-party management policies, standards, and procedures
  • Support negotiations and act as an escalation point where required
