Eligibility Criteria:
- Law graduate (LL.B. or equivalent)
- Prior practical exposure through internships or work experience in corporate law is preferred
- Strong academic record and demonstrable interest in transactional work
- Good drafting, research and communication skills
Core Competencies / Preferred Skills:
- Contract drafting, negotiation and review (NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, shareholder agreements, partnership deeds)
- Company incorporation, board governance and compliance under the Companies Act, 2013
- Legal due diligence for M&A and investment transactions
- Private equity, venture capital and startup advisory experience or interest
- Commercial and intellectual property matters
Preferred knowledge (advantageous): FEMA/FDI regulations, SEBI/securities law, regulatory filings, corporate secretarial practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review commercial and corporate agreements
- Support company incorporation, corporate governance and ongoing compliance tasks
- Conduct legal due diligence and prepare transaction memos and checklists
- Assist in private equity / VC transactions and investor documentation
- Prepare legal research notes, opinions and client deliverables
- Coordinate with clients, external counsels and internal teams on transaction execution
