Role

The Law Officer will be responsible for providing legal advice, supporting contractual and compliance operations, managing litigation, and ensuring HPCL’s adherence to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Eligibility

  • Educational Qualification:
    • 3-year full-time course in Law after graduation, or
    • 5-year integrated course in Law after 12th Standard from a recognized university.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year of post-qualification legal experience is generally expected.
  • Age Limit:
    • Varies based on experience level, typically up to 26–28 years (relaxation as per norms).
  • Age Relaxation:
    • OBCNC: 3 years
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • PwBD (UR): 10 years
    • PwBD (OBCNC): 13 years
    • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years

Responsibilities

  • Advise internal departments on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings.
  • Ensure legal compliance across operations.

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹2,80,000 per month (depending on position and experience level)
