Eligibility Criteria: Bonafide students from recognized universities/institutions in India or abroad who meet the following conditions are eligible to apply:
- Undergraduate Students: Completed/appeared in the term-end exams of the second year/fourth semester of the bachelor’s degree course and secured not less than 85% or equivalent marks in the 12th class.
- Graduate Students: Completed/appeared in the term-end exams of the first year/second semester of their postgraduate program or pursuing research/Ph.D. and secured not less than 70% or equivalent marks in graduation.
- Recent Graduates/Postgraduates: Students who have appeared in the final exam or just completed graduation/postgraduation and are awaiting admission for higher studies may also be considered, provided they have secured 70% or more cumulative marks in all the years/semesters of their graduation/postgraduation till the date of application.
- Note: The period between the month of declaration of the final exam result and the desired month of the internship should not exceed six months.
Responsibilities: Interns are expected to:
- Assist in research and data analysis.
- Contribute to policy papers and reports.
- Participate in stakeholder consultations and meetings.
- Support various initiatives and programs undertaken by NITI Aayog.
Location: NITI Aayog, Sansad Marg, New Delhi – 110001. Depending on the assignment and current guidelines, remote or hybrid working options may be available.
Duration: The internship duration is a minimum of six weeks and can extend up to six months.
Stipend/Benefits: The internship is unpaid. However, interns will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the internship.
Application Deadline: Interested applicants must apply online between the 1st and 10th of February 2025 for internships commencing in the desired month. Applications can be submitted six months in advance but no later than two months before the intended start month.
