Research Fellow – Corporate Law and Financial Regulation

Position / Job Type:

Full-time

Role:

The Research Fellow will be part of the Corporate Law and Financial Regulation Team and will:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and legislative analysis
  • Draft laws and policy documents
  • Coordinate and attend meetings with government stakeholders
  • Prepare research notes, reports, and presentations
  • Contribute to both client-based and internally initiated policy projects

Minimum Eligibility:

Essential

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Law
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in corporate law and financial regulation
    (An LLM will be counted as work experience)
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage research topics independently

Desirable

  • Work experience in insolvency, securities, competition, company law (including transactional corporate law), or commercial laws

Responsibilities:

  • Legal research and legislative drafting
  • Policy development and stakeholder engagement
  • Preparing detailed analytical documents and legal opinions
  • Contributing to both ongoing and original research initiatives
