The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is India’s central banking institution, responsible for regulating monetary policy, issuing currency, and ensuring the country’s financial and economic stability. RBI plays a pivotal role in managing inflation, promoting financial inclusion, and maintaining a robust banking system.

Location:
Various RBI Offices across India, with placements typically aligned to the candidate’s college/institute location.

Position / Vacancies:

  • RBI Summer Intern — 2026 Batch
  • Interns will work on research and analytical projects related to central banking, monetary policy, financial regulation, or legal frameworks, under the guidance of RBI experts.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students pursuing:
    – Post-graduate courses, or
    – Integrated five-year courses in Management / Statistics / Law / Commerce / Economics / Econometrics / Banking / Finance, or
    – Three-year full-time professional Bachelor’s degree in Law from reputed Indian institutions.
  • Only penultimate-year students of their respective courses are eligible to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on policy issues, monetary systems, or financial markets
  • Analyze data, draft reports, and prepare research briefs
  • Work on assigned projects under supervision of RBI officers
  • Contribute to policy and economic studies relevant to RBI’s functioning

Duration:
Summer placement (typically April–June 2026)

Stipend:
₹20,000 per month
